Hello, world! Welcome to my new blog, Copper + Fern.

My name is Caryn, but it’s pronounced “kuh-rin.” I’m a twenty-something woman living on California’s central coast. I love to travel, hike, read, cook, bake, shop, and so much more! Nature is one of my biggest passions, but I have a love for the glamorous things, too: hence the name, Copper + Fern.

A few weekends ago, we went up to Pescadero, a small little town with wonderful charm. We found a tiny slice of heaven: the Pescadero Flowery. There was a little assortment of flowers, succulents, and, as pictured above, Dusty Miller.

Such an interesting bouquet! Sunflowers are my favorite, and I love the interesting mix with the Spider Mums and Cabbage. This tiny barn and all of their beautiful flowers will definitely draw me back here.

They had a “build your own succulent garden” station set up with loads of succulents to pick from! Such a cute idea!

I also made friends with this sweet little kitty, who was perfectly content in his garden home. It was a lovely little adventure, and there will be many more to come. I hope you would like to come along on my adventures with me, so follow my blog or find me on Instagram!
