Thanksgiving may be over this year (which I cannot believe I’m typing… where did 2018 go?! Like, seriously?!), but we do our best to practice thankfulness and gratefulness in our house year round. My fiancé and I do our best to always notice when the other is being particularly helpful and show our gratefulness. We set a tone of being thankful for each other and it helps to strengthen our bond.
This Thanksgiving, we went up to my hometown to visit my darling mama and her autumn wonderland of a home – look at all those autumn leaves! Look at all of that color! It was a beautiful rainy trip home.
For those wondering, this is a link to my dress from American Eagle, my belt from Target, and my earrings are from World Market (but I cannot find them on their website to save my life!). We had a simple thanksgiving filled with good friends, good food, and good music. I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner, it’s like a dance in the kitchen (with some actual dancing in the kitchen too)!
This year, I expressed my thankfulness for my fiancé and our pup, Penny Lane, our families, our friends, our home, and the beautiful life we are creating together. I have so much to be grateful for! It’s been such an amazing year and now we’re getting into “the most wonderful time of the year”! Christmas!
What are you thankful for in your every day? What do you do to keep yourself in a grateful attitude?
Wishing you the best this holiday season!
xoxo
